Hooray, We’ve Launched!

We’re glad to see you here for the release of our very first episode of Primary Attribute, our actual play Castles & Crusades podcast. Although that’s a bit of an understatement, as we’re actually releasing the first ten episodes in one go! So you’ll have a nice pile of episodes to binge right off the bat, if that’s your thing.

We’re planning on releasing new episodes every Wednesday and Friday for now as we catch up to our recording schedule.

Primary Attribute’s campaign is set in the world of Arx Moltimus, a flying fortress mountain that houses the last functioning city in the known world. The ground below is populated by creatures of living shadow known collectively as The Corruption, who seek to assimilate these final holdouts. The city flies above the permanent cloud layer created by The Corruption, bathing in the sun and starlight that quickly destroys corrupted creatures and keeping them from striking effectively. However, there are always storms, and whenever the city passes through those clouds The Corruption begins a fresh assault.

The Arx has been flying for five hundred years at the point we start the tale of our little band of adventurers. There’s something resembling a normal day-to-day for the population of the city. As normal as an entire city carved into the inside of a flying mountain can be, at any rate. Our party has jobs, friends, and loved ones. But their lives are about to get far more complicated as they expand their horizons and confront the system within which they live.

Despite how somber that sounded, rest assured there’s plenty of jokes, silliness, and fun along the way! Oh, and urban planning. And a surprising amount of romance.

We hope you have as much fun listening to the show as we do making it, and are very happy to have you along for the ride!
