Spoiler Warning (Part 2)!: There are also very mild spoilers for the end of episode 221 in this post. Namely, where everyone’s positioned at the end of the episode.
Hello, everyone! It’s time for a blog post, that thing I (Ian) should do approximately 100x more often for our lovely pod.
When we were doing our debrief after recording episode 221, we realized that the layout of the core was hard to visualize. So I came up with some handy visual aids! Important notes:
- Not to scale (I *tried,* but…)
- This is very much a rough draft. Given time, I’d tweak some of the dimensions more to have it match more closely with what’s in my head. Also make it look more polished, generally.
- Some of the measurements are different than what was said in episodes 220 and 221. Why? See #2.
- If the maps are displaying in a two-tone/monochrome format, you’ll need to go to the whole post. Here’s an easy link!
- The backgrounds on these images are transparent, so I recommend viewing them on a light-colored background to keep things clear.
